New from May 2023

My name is Patrick, I live in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance and have always had a great interest in water sports and the latest technology gadgets. What could be more obvious than to combine both hobbies?

In summer I enjoy the free hours on the beautiful Lake Constance with my own boat.

I gave up diving for health reasons, but somehow I missed the underwater world. At the end of 2022, I had the idea of buying an underwater drone, which also had the appropriate tools with it.

The aim is to bring everything to the surface of the water that does not belong on the bottom of our beautiful Lake Constance. On the one hand, this serves to protect the environment, on the other hand, lost objects and owners are reunited. I see myself as part of the annual "Seeputzte" at Lake Constance.

Welcome to VistaSub.de

Has this ever happened to you?

Did you drop something or lose something?

If you notice the loss, you have a good chance of taking your item back on land.

It looks completely different when something has fallen into the water.

In the case of minor goods, it is ultimately pollution and many do not care.

But far too often valuable items or personally valuable mementos fall into the water and seem lost forever. Experienced swimmers can dive and search up to a water depth of 2-3 meters.

In many cases, however, this search becomes impossible due to the limited air supply or the sediments thrown up.

Fast action is only required. Shipping, wind, waves and natural currents affect the location of the lost item and cover it with sediment.

For such cases, VistaSub is available with its equipment.

Patrick Schneider

hobby water sportsman
Patrick discovered water as his element early on. Unfortunately, it was not always financially possible for him to pursue his hobbies, so diving, boating, etc. started quite late.

The boat

Öchsner Drago 29IB
My CHIVA is equipped with a VOLVO Penta D3-220 and also has a lot of other technology on board. It is versatile for relaxation on the water.

Equipment

high quality equipment
The result is always a combination of skill, experience and the right equipment. The right tool must therefore be selected for each application.

Where am I active?

I am primarily active on Lake Constance, but I like to spend my holidays on Lake Garda with my wife and dog.

What happens to the lost property?

Like so many things, a find in Germany is very clearly regulated. Lost property must be handed in. So I hand my finds over to the lost and found office and hope that the honest owner will get in touch. The finds are also published here.

Anyone who actively commissions me to search must follow the same path if the find cannot be clearly assigned. The find will then be handed over to the lost and found office and the rightful owner can pick up his property there. The payment of the finder's reward is a matter of honor for me.

Active environmental protection

Out of sight, out of mind.....that's how it often feels to me when you see the garbage that's in our waterways.

That's why I collect the rubbish I find on my missions. This is then disposed of appropriately on land. You can see what you can find there in the "garbage gallery".

I actively support the annual "Seeputzte" at Lake Constance.

Found but not recovered

Of course, it can happen that objects are located under water that cannot be recovered with the drone or available means. Then you need to seek professional salvage companies or divers.
